Only ten minutes from downtown is the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park with its world-class art and gardens. More than 100 acres of woodlands and wetlands are situated around its indoor and outdoor gardens. It offers the most comprehensive sculpture collection in the Midwest with works by giants such as Rodin and Henry Moore, and the 24-foot tall Leonardo da Vinci's Horse.

The Grand Rapids area is becoming known as a golf mecca with premier championship golf courses and the city is located only minutes from the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. Grand Rapids is a great city for sports fans were one can watch tomorrow's major league stars at West Michigan Whitecaps baseball games.
